Growing up queer and loud in rural Iowa, I’m dedicated to impact, building the representation and support I wish I’d had as a kid.
My expertise spans strategic internal/external comms, creative direction, visual strategy, change management, executive messaging, digital strategy, media relations, and employer branding.
My superpower: connecting values with people-focused initiatives. Colleagues consistently seek out my creative voice and know-how; I don't just communicate— I connect audiences with artists, dreamers, and advocates. (Speaking of superpowers, I’ve also made an action movie trailer featuring all of my co-workers as Marvel superheroes — You haven’t lived until you’ve put your CEO’s face on Iron Man’s body.)

My work mixes creativity, smarts, and Midwest charm, baking bold ideas and serving them up piping hot; my unique experiences blend art school adventurousness with j-school voice and biz school strategy.
This mix fuels unexpected ideas, from defining an executive comms vision and building DEI programs to translating complex AI research. A true people-person, I build transformative experiences through play, humor, and color, whether in a skyscraper or my backyard.
My passion: fostering inclusive, high-trust, high-performance narratives. At Builders Vision, I helped secure "Best Places to Work" recognition two years running, with our third application under consideration. Off-duty, I'm teaching my kiddos the Iowa fight song, "running" along Lake Michigan, or perfecting vegan sticky rolls. Pisces sun, Scorpio rising, Gemini moon.
